How many volts is Vf in a drill machine battery? Check out this explanation

Multymeter.com – Tool Review: Now the work for engineering or construction is made easier by sophisticated supporting tools. For example, an electric drill machine, makes it easier for us than using a manual drill that is moved by hand. And now electric drills are more modern, now there are electric drills that use batteries that can be charged so they don’t use cables anymore.

In the market, battery drills usually use batteries with power ranging from 12 volts, 24 volts. However, there are several brands that use the power “Vf” which is written on the battery casing, such as the example in the picture below. For example, the picture below the battery says the power is 88 Vf. For lay people, like me, they must be wondering, how many volts is the battery power actually.

I tried browsing on Google, but haven’t found an article that reviews this, or maybe I missed an article that discusses it. For the following review, I got it from Gemini. And here is the review:

Although it says “88VF”, hand drill batteries with this label generally have a nominal voltage of around 18V to 21V.

The numbers “88VF” or “48VF”, “68VF”, etc. are often marketing or branding names, and not a direct representation of the actual battery voltage. This is a common practice among some manufacturers, especially for tools sold online or in non-branded marketplaces.

So, even though you see “88VF” on the battery, its operating voltage is actually in the range of lithium-ion batteries commonly used in cordless tools, which is around 18V or 21V when fully charged.

That’s the information I got about the equation of Vf listed on the Battree drill machine. And maybe it can be found on other products. Hope it helps…****
