Results from the 2023 Mandalika MotoGP Race & Standings

Multymeter.com-Sport:The MotoGP Mandalika 2023 race will take place on Sunday 15 October 2023 at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara,Indonesia. This race was won by Ducati Lenovo’s Francesco Bagnaia, who started from 13th position.

The race started with Pramac Racing’s Jorge Martin in the lead, followed by Repsol Honda’s Marc Marquez and Monster Energy Yamaha’s Fabio Quartararo. Bagnaia, who started from 13th position, immediately stepped on the gas and moved up to 10th position on the first lap.

On lap eight, Márquez crashed at turn 13. This moved Bagnaia up to eighth position. On lap 11, Martín had a crash at turn 11 when he was three seconds ahead of Viñales.

After Martin’s crash, Viñales was leading the race, followed by Bagnaia and Quartararo. Bagnaia continued to put pressure on Viñales and finally managed to overtake him on lap 23.

Bagnaia led the race to the end and won. Viñales finished second, followed by Quartararo in third.

Bagnaia’s victory at Mandalika moved him back to the top of the 2023 MotoGP standings with 346 points.
