Oh..Because of this, the FIM gives Grade A homologation to the Mandalika Circuit. Specifications? Can it be competed…

Multymeter.com-Sport: The FIM granted Grade A homologation to the Mandalika Circuit because it complies with the safety standards and facilities established by the FIM to hold MotoGP racing events. The following are 3 reasons why the FIM granted Grade A homologation to the Mandalika Circuit:

Good track quality and run-off.

The Mandalika Circuit track is 4.310km long and has 17 corners, including 11 left turns and 6 right turns. The track has a smooth and even asphalt surface, as well as a large run-off area to provide protection for riders in the event of an accident.

Adequate quality of facilities.

The Mandalika Circuit has adequate facilities for holding MotoGP racing events, including the pit lane, garage, medical room and other support facilities. These facilities have met the safety standards set by the FIM.

Good marshalling qualities.

Marshals are officers on duty at the track to help ensure the smooth and safe running of the race. The Mandalika Circuit has 400 local marshals who have been trained by the FIM. The marshal has proven his ability to perform his duties well at the 2022 MotoGP race.

The following are several facility improvements made by the Indonesian Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) together with the Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA) to meet FIM standards:

○Runoff was added to some corners.

○Repair of asphalt surfaces

○Addition of medical and safety facilities.
